I have been recruited by both Accenture and Infosys… I have done B.Tech. from a REC. I intend to do MBA in near future. I am ambitous but peace of mind is also important for me.
Please advise, which company to join.
You can join Accenture for the reason there is no bond and no rigorous training so both these things help you in MBA preparation. Keep both options open now, join Accenture and see how it is, if joining date is earlier, then decide. Or vice versa, talk to some people/seniors there. I know a person who joined accenture worked for 10 days then left and joined Infy, the main reason he wanted to be with his college crowd.

I recently got selected for a course by ICICI Prudential namely PGPMI(Post Graduate Program in Management Insurance) which would be affiliated to B-schools after which im assured i would get a job. I have given my preferences of the B-schools i want to join. However having no knowledge of their selection criteria im not sure if they would give me my preferences. Im also applying for another course namely operational Research which has its entrance in March. Now, i have to give my first installment for the pgpmi course in one week. Please if anyone knows anything about the PGPMI course kindly guide me to take a decision.

i in a bit of problem. i have offers from Aricent and Impetus. In Aricent i m getting testing and joining is near. In impetus i might get development but don’t have its joining date.I really want to do development.What would u suggest considering the delay of joining of many companies should i join aricent or i should wait for some months for impetus..Also how do u rate impetus as a company i mean is it worth leaving aricent for impetus…

I am working for MphasiS for the last 13 months. I joined there as a fresher and took training for 3 months.Now I want to leave the company for some personal problems in the next 2-3 months.Before joining MphasiS as a fresher, I also worked for a small company for 11 months and at that time MphasiS offer as a fresher came to me so I took it as MphasiS was the better company than the previous one.
I signed a bond with MphasiS for exclusively 24 months with an amount of Rs.60,000.Here my work environment is also good.I have no complains with mphasiS….
Since I want to leave the company in 2-3 months for some personal problem, I want to know that is there any problem if I leave MphasiS before completing 24 months in MphasiS??? I also dont want to give the bond money i.e., 60,000. The time I am planning to leave the company will complete my 14-15 months duration in Mphasis since joining… So are the rest 9-10 months really matter which can force me to pay the bond money or can cause a legal trouble to me from MphasiS’s side????

hey man i don’t think doing M.Tech will improve your job prospects much.
Doing MBA will get you good jobs but not related to mechanical definitely.
I suggest you going to US for MS , it will give you great exposure.

i have completed my B tech computer science course in 2008 may .and have already recruited to mphasis through a palcement section in 2007 to its application division.but till havnt got a DOJ letter from mphasis.but all the students recruited to its ITO section have been called recently .they are not giving us any clue on how long do we have to wait.please give us some advice on this matter
this is a difficult question as no one knows when they will call bu i think if they committed they will call you, this is a problem with several companies i believe.

chances of internal job change or moving to development depends on requirement in the company and your luck also. try if you can get a better job now, or if you join Mphasis be proactive so that you can move to development easily.
