i will not recommend the hexaware technologies,this year appraisal is worst in the software industry. 80% of the chennai people got very low salary hike this year.its started from 6% to 10%. but average hike of the sofware industry is 18 to 22 %. And also they have the policy,not to give the good hike for the immediate first year after joining the hexaware. And also people those who are joining in hexaware from small compaines are also considered as low value people even have good experience. Hope this situation will improve in future to acheive their goal
I am the new joinee at Hexaware,Chennai and can say the HR deptt is really pathetic out here. Rest all is gr8 at Hexaware, if you can change the entire HR team. Also the policies which HR is having out here is really troublesome for any freshers. The package they offer looks kool but at the end you will get only nuts. So better ask for monthly in hand salary not ask for annual package.

What I have experienced while workign with Hexaware is, not only HR Deptt, even the Admin deptt needs to be change out here. Specially for all new joinees whether they are Fresher or Experienced you can’t trust on Hexaware HR Deptt. To me package has been told something & what I am getting end of the month is what I was paid at my previous company. They will make package looks very Great but at the end, you are going to get only what they want.
Apart from HR & Admin, Hexaware is one the best software company to work with. Specially across Team, career growth & all other aspects (leave money) you will find Hexaware is better than other software companies.
If you are joining than ask for your monthly in-hand salary, don’t ever go for Packages.
At the End! I must say you are Welcomed at Hexaware, if ur really tired of switching from one company to other.

This is a sinking ship. Soon they will close down the doors. No projects, what ever they call projects are nothing buty “staffing”. They sell bodies in India. They also lack strategy for future. Its going on without any control.
Some of the managers are Lipstick salesmen, literarily, they were in product sales.. now they ar emanagers 🙂 how stupid and rediculous. Some of them who portrait themselves as big shots (shits) are just 3 years bachelors such as BA etc. They play such dirty politics that they will always keep you supressed.
Imagine, after working hard earning BE/BTech, you go and work under a 3 year BA graduate? who can’t even speak english properly?
I was there for a short time and oh boy “Ran away” on first opportunity as these 3 year graduate old folks there as managers trouble you. They could not even write a mail properly, I have noticed that they google for sample mail before writing a mail 🙂

Lot to summarize of my 10 years with Hexaware. I will say it in single word: ROTTEN
– Management is baised with people they know. So no chance of growth.
– There is absolutely no vision or stratergy, so you don’t know where you or your company is heading towards. I had job title Tech. Architect ; expectation of programmer; lead ; proj manager; onsite-offshore cordinator ; salesman ; production support.. I dont know what to say to company. having faced 7 hexaware managers – none of them could define my exact role… how ridicolous.
– so called “Project Managers”, actual job they do is WATCH DOG like when you come to office, have you filled timesheet, get onsite offshore visa status, ask for same detail again and again to employee. I don’t understand where is the real material or product knowledge!!
– Appraisal process is the most funniest and Crapiest I have ever known. HR comes out with new appraisal process every year and no one actual refers to your appraisal. I know so many folks who haven’t had appraisal and got raise on par or more than average for last couple of years. HR keeps records but no one cares to REFER.
– Basically HEXAWARE is best company to launch career but ABSOLUTELY WASTE to be there more than 2 years
– I am ashamed of myself being with company for 10 years- sad thing I cannot change my past and have to live with this Shame for rest of my life.
Hexaware = Cow Dung
Hello 10Years Hexawarian.
How can you compare hexaware to Cow Dung. Cow Dung is an excellent manure and it gets better and better in time. It is used as manure, used to cook and make fire.. and it has so many uses. I had bought the shares of Hexaware at 120 last year to see it erode to 33. It is certainly not cow dung, much much worse than that.

Freinds, my experience with hexaware is pathetic. There are no words to express about shit hexaware. when there is work they will pay you peanuts and when there is no work they stop paying you and no HR will reply to you. They claim hexaware is is corporate and will hire full time employees. But corporate hexaware will not pay salary when you are in bench at onsite. I recommed everyone not to join shit hexaware at onsite. I never saw such stupid and idiotic company in my life.

I joined Hexaware chennai as a graduate. soon after a year due to health issues, I had to ask for sick leave. they rejected. Nevertheless, I left an e-mail to my manager and gone! That was in Nov 2008. Came Jan 09, they sent a termination letter. I thought fine..,and kept quite. Now in May09 they sent another letter saying I have to pay 2.45L towards arbitration since I left the company (fact that they terminated me) before the 2 Yr tenure. I just want to share my part of the haphazard with Hexaware and see if any one has got similar issue. I am goig to Court..fight..
By the way, I have read people worth 10Yrs hexaware exp. do any one aware of the company policy of hiring fresh graduate?

POST RESIGNATION TREATMENT AND EXIT PROCESS ARE REALLY BAD. ALMOST EVERY EX – HEXAWARIAN HAS FACED AN ISSUE DURING THEIR EXIT. EVEN AFTER GETTING RELIEVED THE WAY THE EX – EMPLOYEES ARE TREATED FOR GETTING THEIR RELIEVING LETTER IS REALLY BAD.
IF U NOTICE THE NUMBERS OF EX – EMPLOYEES WHO HAVE RE-JOINED HEXAWARE IS VERY LESS. THIS PROVES THE ABOVE STATEMENT.
My company was a great place to work, until Hexaware purchase it. One Hexaware got in charge, HR, Sales, Training, Staffing and Appraisal policies move to the middle ages.
HR, you can notice how there is an ethnic preference among the management, because only Indian employees receive appraisal notes, rewards, promotions and rises.
In the Sales department, they do a lousy job, with ridiculous rates; consultants have to work on-site with $25us a day for all expenses (transport, meals, phone and laundry) and sharing flea infested hotel rooms.
Staffing, there is a preference to give Indians most of the projects, regardless of their experience, even English skills (there are customers who prefer communicate with the subordinates instead of the team leaders, because of their poor communication skills). Training is poor, there is never enough money to pay for certifications (blame that to the lousy sales department).
The appraisal department is inexistent, if you are not Indian and ever wanted to receive a rise, a promotion or at the least a hand on the back, Hexaware is not for you.

this is one bullshit company. I lost my individuality and thinking capabilities after joining this company. The work environment is pathetic. You cannot suggest anything good workwise. You have to do as you are being told to by your higher ups. They never keep up their promises about offers or projects. Instead of improving I seriously deteriorated after joining here. If you are an expert in something they see to it that u loose all your expertise in your domain because Hexaware is very famous for throwing you into completely different project/domain/work in which you have no exposure and thereafter there will be no learning but deteriorating. HR policies are worst. At the time of joining the overall ctc looked good but if I look at the breakup it is such that the amount I take is less than what I used to get previously. The leave policies are worst. There are hardly any holidays (3 or 5 per year). People who do not know even fundamentals get work and onsite offers while those who are capable and have knowledge are kept aside due to partiality. Dont u ever come and join this company especially in chennai. Especially if u are a non localite for heavens sake keep away from this place because you are treated like a dog.

I heard that freshers who are selected in Hexaware via off-campus needs to undergo training in GTT centre for 3 months (need to pay them 30K) and then after the training need to pay 70K to Hexaware. There is also a bond of 3 years. Is this information true? And how much reliable is this? All, please share if u have information regarding this.

Well i would say Hexaware is growing at a fast pace its a leading company ,it has signed a multi-million dollar deal recently and it also had a net profit of Rs 60 crore,which is highly reputable and will be achoice of every employee to be a part of such a successful company.Well career growth and global oppurtunities are there.Working enviornment and infrastructure is also great.One get’s a satisfiying salary.As a global IT Co you may not pin point their quality of work as they are one of the best in their field.I am fortunate to be a part of such a great company .Hexaware Rockss!!

I got placed in Hexaware in a pool campus at pondichery.
There is 2 months training(not at hexaware,no salary at that period);3 year bond;2.5 lac pa package,30000 to be paid for training;70000 to be deposited in my fixed deposit account;after 3 years,the training amount will be refunded by the company,and my fixed deposit will be freed.
The above comments have scared the shit out of me,i dont have any option other than hexaware at least for now.All i want to know from the employees and ex employees of hexawere is wether freshers will recieve any raise after 1 year??I asked one of the HR personally after the placement,,he said salary will be raised above 3 lac pa after 1 year,,,,,,,is it true???Please help me!
I too got placed in Hexaware recently and I dont like their offer much.. a 3 year bond for God’s sake!! but i also have no other option and no clue about the raise in salary after a year of work 😐
I am ready to commit for three years if after first year they pay standard salary……….else working for three years in chennai with 2.5 lac package is a nightmare!!!
What bothers me more that experienced people here are not helping us!They have put lot of effort in criticizing hexaware here but no one has time to clear a simple doubt of a fresher 😦

Mine is cse……..there is equal opportinities in this sector for both it and electronic guys………and this company has good brand value…so nothing wrong in joining as fresher………..they told me that i will be posted in chennai……..what about you??

First u have to open a fixed deposit account with sum of 70000,If u leave before three years,you will have to transfer the fixed diposit’s amount to the company………and of course,you cant get your training expense(30000) refunded in this case!So u will end up loosing 1 lac!
ooohh….then i think its better not to join in dis company.
U have to pay in any company in that case!Here at least 70000 will be deposited in fixed deposit(in bank,not in company) which u will gate back with interest after the end of term…………

There is nothing wrong in joining Hexawere.I was initially scared after reading comments on this page,but search about any company,90% of feedback will be negative.Its a good company to start your career with,as it has good brand value and good work culture.

I got mail from hexaware saying that training will be given in chennai ( GTT ) and from external resources i came to know no salary during that period.Is there any guarantee that i’m compulsary going to be recruited after training. Becoz GTT is just lyk a IT finishing school.

no one knows how many batches are there……but one another batch is there for sure…starting from december last aur january i think

no one will dump you as long as you are doing well in training :)……….there is too much syllabus in training but reviews are simple…..only in rare case someone fails in second attempt

@sudipto:YOU DONT HAVE TO PAY A PENNY TO HEXAWARE!You have to deposit 70000 in your own account…fix it for 3 years….submit the document to hexaware…..money will always be in your account…you will be getting the interest……only difference is that hexaware will have the right to claim your money in case you break the contract

I want to clear all your doubts.. According to my point of view, Hexaware is really a good place to work. After finishing training in gtt,students will be treated as employee.. GTT works very well on training to pull you people in hexaware. Work environment is good. Whatever the previous comments, 3 yrs is not a big deal to survive in a company to gain our knowledge. Salary package also good(2.5L). After 1 yr, they will increase salary package depending on performance. So, If you get offer,try to join nd all the best for ur career…….
